Saybrook maintains affiliations with several universities and with dozens of highly accomplished individuals; scientists and engineers from the industrial and academic sectors.  We supplement our own testing and piloting facilities with the advanced and highly specialized capabilities of research and academic institutions.  Such project specific resources bring a very high level of subject matter specialization to the development effort.

Innovations have spanned a wide variety of markets from specialty textiles for home craft applications to heavy fabricated metal components for industrial markets; from pet grooming products to renewable energy systems.

The company carefully screens candidate projects to ensure that costs and risks of development are reasonably consistent with eventual market opportunity.

Many of Saybrooks product innovations are patent protected and currently in production at spin-off or subsidiary business units.  Some have had several years of global sales history.
